The Bilona Journey

From milk to golden ghee, in four traditional steps.

  1. Start With Milk

Desi Gir cow milk is heated and cooled before the culturing stage.

  2. Culture Into Curd

The cooled milk is cultured into curd, ready for traditional churning.

  3. Churn & Separate

The curd is hand-churned using the Bilona method to separate the butter.

  4. Clarify Into Ghee

The butter is carefully heated and clarified into aromatic, golden ghee.

Illustrations explain the process and do not depict the production facility.

What Makes This Ghee Special?

Traditional Curd-Churning

The Bilona method begins with cultured curd. Churning separates the butter, which is then clarified into ghee.

Small Batches, Distinctive Character

Prepared in small batches, with the rich aroma and flavour that make ghee a familiar part of Indian home cooking.
